This book is a complete reprint of a catalog that was originally published by Galerie Bleich-Rossi (Graz) in 1990 and was then out of print for a long time. It contains a selection of Dan Graham’s black-and-white grid drawings and typewriter pieces between 1965 and 1969 and wonderfully outdated advertisement pages at the end.

The initiative to include this catalog in the Publication Studio network program came from Publication Studio Vancouver, which also obtained the artist’s consent. Our copy was produced before our eyes at Publication Studio Rotterdam on February 21, 2020, as the stamp on the spine records. This distinction between originating studio and producing studio is also recorded on the back cover, where the name of the Rotterdam studio is embossed.
